Roar by the Shores 2024
The 11th Annual Roar by the Shores (RBTS) Classic Car show held on June 23rd was a great success with 170 classic cars registered despite the roaring mix of weather!
This week Port Perry Hospital Foundation was excited and grateful to join several of the Roar by the Shores 2024 organizing team including Dave Roulston, Mark Willes, and Tony Janssen as they presented Rachel Agnoluzzi (CEO of Port Perry Hospital Foundation) with a cheque in the amount of $4,195. Other beneficiaries of the day included Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham and Scugog Lake Stewards.
Special thanks go out to Dave Roulston, Tony Janssen, Mark Willes, and their team of volunteers who spend countless hours up to and on the day of the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. They are a force for good!
Thank you also to all the local businesses for sponsoring this event encouraging participants with wonderful prizing and more. And thank you to all the spectators who braved the rain and enjoyed the show with us. It was truly a great day for classic car enthusiasts and for local healthcare and other important causes.
