September Here for You – Donor Appreciation Event and CT Tour
Recently, three Here for You Donor Appreciation events were held in one day dedicated to expressing gratitude to the campaign’s most generous supporters. At our morning event, we hosted members of the Auxiliary to Lakeridge Health Port Perry to a reception, Recognition Plaque unveiling, and tour of the new CT Suite. Other generous supporters of the campaign joined in for an afternoon or evening reception, unveiling, and tour. Lakeridge Health CEO, Cynthia Davis, attended each of the events, sharing appreciation with the guests. Cynthia shared that in its first three months of operation, over 600 patients had received their CT scan at Port Perry, and that Lakeridge Health Chief of Staff, Dr. Randy Wax, references the CT scanner at Port Perry as a game-changer in enhancing life-saving care.

We wished that we could have opened this celebratory day up to every single person who made a contribution to the Here for You campaign but as a hospital caring for patients, that just wasn’t possible. Over 1,500 individuals and businesses made donations to this campaign, not to mention the hundreds of people who participated in fundraising events and activities.
