Shortly after the pandemic began Kelly's on Queen began selling non-medical face masks with a goal of donating all proceeds to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation. Thank you Kelly and Brian and thank you to so many Port Perry residents who supported the Port Perry Hospital health care team while shopping local.
Thank you to Puckrin and Latreille Real Estate Team! The group of realtors recently paid it forward to the Port Perry Hospital Foundation and its frontline heroes. Their donation will help keep excellent care close to home for our North Durham community.
A big thank you LeanPack Inc. for supporting the Port Perry Hospital though a raffle of protection equipment. $150 was raised for the hospital that will Help Port Perry's medical team respond to COVID-19 and other urgent patient needs. Congratulations winner, Pauline Allan Edwards and thank you to all who purchased tickets.
The annual Port Perry Dragon Boat Festival may be cancelled this year, but the wonderful The Queen Bees team is still eager to help their community and find a way to support Lakeridge Health's Port Perry Hospital and Scugog Lake Stewards Inc. The team made an incredible donation of $1,400!
A big thank you to Scugog PPFA IAFF 4679! The Union that represents Scugog’s Professional Firefighters delivered care packages to Port Perry Hospital that contained a tablet and puzzles, word searches and colouring books to keep our patients entertained and connected with their loved ones.
As part of their Neighbour Helping Neighbour Campaign 2020, we are pleased to share with you that HTM Insurance donated $2,500 each to each hospital in Durham Region, including Port Perry Hospital.
Port Perry Lawyers Care. Lawyers from Titlers Professional Corporation, Mason Bennett Johncox, McMurtry Law, Friend & Dobson, Inclusive Advisory and Riverin Law Firm have joined forces to support our amazing healthcare team with a group donation that will help fund the urgent needs of our Port Perry Hospital and health of our North Durham community.
When their season was cancelled, Scugog Womens Hockey League built a strong offensive line against COVID-19. The players waived their reimbursements, choosing instead to pay it forward to local causes on the front lines of the pandemic. We are so grateful for this donation!
We are so thankful for the support we’ve received from the Port Perry Pickleball Club and Jester’s Court Port Perry. The two joined forces to provide meals for Port Perry Hospital’s amazing team! Jesters also offered 50% off to health care workers and first responders!
On the Reel donated $1.00 for every piece of fish sold on Good Friday. Their fundraiser raised over $500 for our hospital team! Thank you for supporting excellent local health care!
The LOVE YOU by Shoppers Drug Mart program works together with local charities to help advance women’s health. Their recent LOVE YOU campaign at Port Perry Shoppers Drug Mart raised nearly $6,400 for care at Port Perry Hospital. We are so thankful for the support from the store’s shoppers, team and owner Saeed Ali.
For 19 incredible years, Dana Smith of Dana's Goldsmithing has donated her time and talents to design a charity ornament with proceeds benefiting the Port Perry Hospital. This year we received a wonderful donation of $6,500. This brings the total amount raised to date to $81,500! Thank you so much Dana and your team!
At a very special celebration we had the honour of receiving a generous donation of $104,000 from our friends at Mississaugas of Scugog Island First Nation. These funds will go towards the purchase of new state of the art equipment for our day surgery program. Thank you, we are so fortunate to have you as our partner in delivering great care.
The Port Perry Hospital is incredibly fortunate to have the continuing support of Ron and Nancy Compton. The couple recently purchased a cardiac transport monitor/defibrillator and two ECG carts for the hospital. Thank you for your continued support!

A big thank you to Roar by the Shore organizers, sponsors, volunteers, participants and spectators! This year over 343 cars and 35 tractors lined Water Street raising $3,700 for the Port Perry Hospital Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham.
We were honoured to be a beneficiary of Dineen Construction's Golf Tournament this week along with all of our fellow Lakeridge Health family of foundations. With supporters like Dineen, we are enhancing health care for patients across Durham Region.
When local pharmacist challenged the community to match his $5,000 donation, the community blew us away with their support. Over $12,000 was raised! Thanks Doug and thank you to our community who we can always count on to support excellent healthcare at the Port Perry Hospital.
We feel doubly fortunate for the Legion's commitment to excellence in local care for Port Perry. Royal Canadian Legion representatives dropped by with not one, but two donations. For Smart IV Pumps from the Legion's Ontario Command and Ladies Auxiliaries Foundation.

A huge and heartfelt thank you to some very generous card players. The Foundation recently received a donation of $5,000 from Scugog Marathon Hospital Bridge Club. This dedicated group has included supporting the hospital as part of their club's mandate for over 30 years, and to date has raised close to $50,000. Simply an amazing group!
Sisters Emily, Natalie and Elyse presented to Scugog’s 100 Men Who Care on behalf of Port Perry Hospital Foundation. With proud dad Doug Brown standing by, the girls successfully pitched urgently needed emergency room equipment. A great big thank you to 100 Men for this wonderful support.
