Port Perry Dragon Boat Festival 2023

Sistoars ready to race

The 2023 Port Perry Dragon Boat Festival held on Saturday June 17th, 2023, was an amazing success with fierce competition on the lake and equally fierce competition in fundraising.

Two amazing Teams, The Scugog Hockey SISTOARS and North End Storm fought hard both on the water and on the fundraising front.  These two teams raised more funds between them, than was raised at the full dragon boat festival last year. They put the fierce and fun in fundraising and into the competition on and off the water this year.

Thank you and congrats go out to all the local teams. Together you raised more than $41,000 benefitting the Port Perry Hospital Foundation and the Scugog Lake Stewards!

It was a remarkable showcase of skill and determination on the water, accompanied by dedicated fundraising efforts on the shore! Our communities, generous donors, local businesses, and passionate paddlers united forces, resulting in an unforgettable day of camaraderie, competition and achievement.
