Roar by the Shores 2025

The 12th Annual Roar by the Shores (RBTS) Classic Car Show rolled into town on June 22nd with picture-perfect weather and an incredible display of over 400 classic cars, making it a very successful show.

This week, the Port Perry Hospital Foundation was proud to join members of the 2025 RBTS organizing team — Dave Roulston, Mark Willes, Tony Janssen, and Bill Dowson — for a cheque presentation. Foundation CEO Rachel Agnoluzzi gratefully accepted a generous $7,535 donation in support of local healthcare. But the impact didn’t stop there. The event also raised funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of North Durham, Oak Ridges Hospice, and Pegasus Animal Sanctuary, and a large donation of food was collected in support of Operation Scugog Food Bank.
We’re deeply grateful to the many local businesses whose generous sponsorships, prizes, and support helped bring the day to life. And to all the spectators who came out to enjoy the show — thank you for being part of such a memorable event. It was a fantastic celebration for classic car lovers, and it made a meaningful impact on local healthcare and other vital causes.
A heartfelt thank you to Dave Roulston, Mark Willes, Tony Janssen, Bill Dowson, and their incredible team of volunteers for the countless hours they dedicated before and during the event to ensure its success. Their commitment and energy truly make a difference in our community.

Don’t let the Canada Post Strike stop you from supporting your hospital.
