Ways to Give During Postal Disruption

A big thank you to Dr. Merrilee Brown for highlighting the impact of donor support in the letter. And a big thank you to everyone who has already donated this holiday season.
We are concerned about the postal disruption, and the impact it will have on the needs of our local hospital. For many people the holidays are the time of year we provide support to causes close to our hearts. With this postal disruption, here are other ways you can still donate and support your hospital at this giving time of year:

- Phone the Foundation to donate by credit card or to arrange your e-transfer or for pickup:

- Drop off in person: Visit the Foundation Office at Port Perry Hospital
Enter through the main door, turn right in the main hall and find us at the first door on the left.
Office hours are 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. - After-hours donation drop at the hospital: Leave your donation with security by the Emergency Entrance.
Charitable tax receipting for donations given online will be received immediately. For donations received at our office, or arranged by credit card or e-transfer, including an email where possible will help with receipting if the strike is extended. Alternatively, we’ll have your tax receipt out to you as soon as postal service resumes, well in time for your tax filing.
Please don’t let the mail strike deter you from making your donation. Your holiday support is so important, helping us upgrade essential medical equipment and enhance patient care close to home. Thank you for making a difference with your holiday gift!
