Time to gear up and get ready to Ride for the ‘Ridge on May 24, 2026 (not the long weekend) at Ajax Downs Racetrack!
Join us in supporting health care at our community hospitals through Durham Region’s premier cycling event!
In partnership with the four Foundations of Lakeridge Health, the RBC Ride for the ‘Ridge unites over 300 dedicated cyclists, community leaders, and health care champions—all pedalling together to make a difference for Lakeridge Health hospitals.
New Family Route Available!
The NEW Family Route offers a fun way for the whole family to get involved, and also NEW this year, the Family Fun Zone adds even more excitement, making it a perfect day to spend together while supporting Durham Region Health Care.

- 100 KM
- 60 KM
- 10 KM (Family Route)
- 25 KM
Registration Options With Swag Incentives
- Ride & Raise – $60 with a minimum fundraising amount of $150 per rider.
- Individual Ride Only – $125 with no fundraising required but always welcome. This option does not include any swag items.
- Child and Youth Registration – $30 with a minimum fundraising amount of $150 per rider.
- Swagged Up Ride Only – $300 no fundraising required but always welcome.
This year, ‘Ridge Riders who raise $500+ will receive a branded cycling cap and those who raise $1,000+ get the cap and branded cycling gloves. Reminder that all riders receive branded socks and water bottle, but need to raise $300 to receive the branded jersey

- Start fundraising before May 9 to be entered in a draw for Reptilia passes (4 adults, 4 children valued at $140)
- Raise $150+ by the end of Prize Week to be entered in a draw for a $150 Odd Bunch Gift Card
- All riders who have raised $300+ by the end of Prize Week will be entered in a draw for a 10 Class Pass to Power Yoga Oshawa (valued at $215)
- Raising $500+ before May 9 gets you entered in a draw for a Knots ‘n’ Joints gift basket including a 45-minute Massage (valued at $200+) AND a Maple Grove Orchards CSA Membership (valued at $750)
- Raised $1,000+ before the end of Prize Week? You’ll be entered in a draw for 4 Toronto Blue Jays tickets AND 4 Toronto Football Club Tickets ($1,725.76 value for Jays, $1,060 values for TFC)
But, there’s more!
Be in the Top Ten of fundraisers or Top Ten riders with the most donations by 8AM on race day, May 24, and be entered in a draw for the top prize: Two Economy Return Air Canada Tickets to any Air Canada scheduled destination (valued at $9,200 and to be used by May 24, 2027). The draw will take place at the event following the ride!
