Join the fun and friendly competition of the Port Perry Dragon Boat Festival, a great day of paddling AND a terrific way to support the community, hosted by Alkame Dragon Boats.

All funds raised stay in this community, supporting Port Perry Hospital Foundation and Scugog Lake Stewards.

The Port Perry Dragon Boat Festival offers a pledge program to all teams. All pledges (donations) collected by each team will be donated to The Port Perry Hospital Foundation and the Scugog Lake Stewards. Prizes will be awarded to teams and individuals who raise the most money!

  • First Prize: A stunning pair of silver earrings, donated by Dana’s Goldsmithing, valued at $258 – Tish Menzies (Sistoars)
  • Second Prize: All day kayak rentals for two at Freedom Canoe & Kayak with two stylish hats, valued at $170 – Misty Hinkson (Sistoars)

Here’s the fine print: Individual Fundraising prizes are for peer-to-peer fundraising by individuals and in the interest of fairness, any pooled collection of funds attributed to one team member shall be excluded.

Updated Prizing Rules: For donations to be included in fundraising totals for incentive prizing all donations must be submitted by 10 a.m. Saturday, June 15th (race day) at Latcham Centre, Palmer Park.

Parking Site Details

Emmanuel Community Church, 1680 Reach Street
Port Perry, ON

Directions to parking site:

  • From Toronto, take Hwy 401 E towards Kingston.
  • Take exit 410 to Brock Street S.
  • Continue on Brock Street S to Baldwin Street S/Hwy 12 N.
  • Keep left to continue on Baldwin Street S/Hwy 12 N.
  • Turn right on Reach Street.

Since there is such limited parking around the event, it is recommended that participants park at the Emmanuel Community Church. Shuttle buses will be provided from the Church to the Festival site from 8:00am-5:00pm. All vehicles illegally parked will be tagged and/or towed at the Townships discretion.
