Mission
Port Perry Hospital Foundation (PPHF) builds awareness, resources and relationships to enhance healthcare for our community
Practical Vision
We will be a trusted and influential partner for quality accessible healthcare
Port Perry Hospital Foundation has established a multi-year strategic plan focusing our efforts within four main strategies:
1. Inspire and grow our donor base
Respond to cultural and generational shifts in philanthropic values, the competition of funds, and funding pressure that creates uncertainty about our long-term sustainability. Promoting the foundation and expanding fundraising options is the central means by which the foundation contributes to the healthcare needs of the community.
2. Secure the foundation’s long term stability
Address the risks of renewing and growing vital staff, board, vendors, and volunteers, moving PPHF towards operational stability and with a secure and growing donor base.
3. Continually define the role of PPHF in evolving community healthcare
Establish greater clarity of purpose and alignment within Lakeridge Health (LH) to balance between local needs and regional needs, while contributing to improving health outcomes across the region.
4. Advocate for adequate healthcare funding
Position Lakeridge Health as a priority for the government (local, provincial, and federal). PPHF will work alongside LH to increase available funding for healthcare in the region.
